Veterinary Malpractice: Lucy and the Twins • Bad Vets: Luke’s Story

Luke was the poster child of a victim of his doctors. His story is difficult to tell, (I can't stop crying). Luke was killed by his veterinarians. The most disturbing factor in Luke's case is how many vets failed him, including veterinarians who teach at the University of Minnesota, our "Mayo Clinic" of vet hospitals.

Lucy was The Boss. She looked after everybody; the other goats, the steer, the dogs and cats, us, and especially the horses. Oh how she loved her horses. She was a little homebody, happy in her barn and pasture. She liked to keep everyone together in a group, (her herd). She had personality, charm, a sense of humor, and a temper. She was kind of like June Cleaver with horns. Lucy was "everyone's mother". But when it was time for her real kids to be born, disaster struck.

We miss her so very much!

Lucy was killed by her veterinarian.

East Central Veterinarian Clinic

 Turns Away Our Injured Dog!

Oct. 26, 2004 Galen Brelie DVM canceled Mack's appointment, refusing emergency treatment for our injured dog. Our "new" veterinarian, Dr. Brelie severed our relationship abruptly and without explanation. We've now been black-balled by 8 more vets in 2 more clinics for a total of 19 vets in 5 cities. Why??? We did nothing wrong. Read about it.
